Background/Experience
I received my JD from Case Western Reserve University in 2002 and my
LLM in International and European Law from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2003. I have a good background in the following
areas:
- International Law and Relations
- European Union Law
- Immigration and Asylum Law
- International Human Righs Law
- Administrative and Environmental Law
- Intellectual Property Law
In addition to my legal background, I am fluent in French and Farsi, and
currently learning Spanish as well. Furthermore, I have extensive travel and study abroad experience including Brussels,
Rome, London, Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne.
